I have long been a Carlo Vergara fan so i brought along my old copy of the #KPANLL comic book para pamirmahan. I met him by the door going out at wala akong nagawa but shake his hand and give a bright stupid-ass smile. #starstruck

I am an now an actual fan of Markki Stroem the stage actor. Honestly i was expecting he’d be one of those pretty boy-eyecandies who could probably sing or act decently, but meyn, THE BOY CAN SING!… saka may abs siya. Go buy your tickets na.

To say na magaling siya is to say the obvious.

Nar Cabico as the main villain was a total hoot while Kim Molina as Mely’s harot sister Viva, was a powerhouse.

Vincent de Jesus’ songs were totally engaging.

Eto lang ang tanong ko, inglesero ba ang lyricist or does English just lends itself better to musical theater?  Napansin ko kasi na for the most part while natural ang bagsak nung mga english songs, medyo unwieldy pakinggan yung may tagalog lyrics.

KPANLL was originally a one-act play so maigsi lang, with it being turned to a full-lenght musical, my fear was magiging salsal na ang kwento either sa gitna or beyond the original ending of the play and the comicbook. I am glad to say that my fears were unfounded and the extensions were valid and at the end it had me nodding like “Ah oo nga. It totally makes sense”.
